NDA

UX Architecture and KPI System Design for an internal BI and decision-making ecosystem with multiple tools, roles, and management levels.

Approx. +156% increase in monthly usage frequency following UX and product optimization.

Details

Challenge

The BI and decision-making ecosystem had grown in parallel across multiple applications and product lines. Navigation, interaction patterns, KPI communication, chart logic, and visual semantics were not consistently standardised. This made it difficult for user groups to use, navigate between tools, interpret metrics, and understand the underlying data.

Role

External designer · UX responsibility throughout the entire project duration · Primary client contact · Asynchronous and occasional direct coordination with business stakeholders

Contribution

Structural analysis and visualisation of existing data and system landscapes, as well as development of consistent cross-app navigation and interaction principles for the internal app store, its applications, and multiple product lines. Key structural usage issues were identified and quantified through combined surveys, interviews, and analysis of operational usage data. Based on this, overarching standardisation and usability optimisation of visual system components across all user groups were implemented, accompanied by structured coordination processes.

Impact

Greater transparency in system behaviour and KPI dependencies, enhanced data experience through standardised chart logic, improved orientation between tools, reduced structural inconsistencies, and a scalable interface foundation for new BI and management applications.

NDA

Structuring an operational management system in which IoT measurement data, system states and action needs had to be clearly prioritised and made usable.

Details

Challenge

A new operational management system in the maritime environment had to integrate IoT-based status data, external process information and variable capacities into a consistent product logic. The goal was a structure that clearly represents operational control, better resource utilisation and different usage scenarios.

WebApp

Role

External designer · UX responsibility throughout the entire project period · Direct coordination with C-level

Contribution

Structuring the central product logic for states, capacities, process information, roles and operational actions. Developing modular product standards for variable configurations, recurring usage scenarios and extendable service logics. The work translated diverse data sources, operational requirements and configuration logics into a scalable product architecture that clearly represents existing processes and prepares for future extensions.

Impact

From the initial product concept emerged a robust product and interface structure. It forms the foundation for digital control, more efficient resource use and scalable expansions in further product development.

OMR Reviews Top Rated CRM Systems, Q2/2023

Details

Challenge

Samdock targeted SMEs with diverse working methods, experience levels and process maturity. The product had to remain easily accessible while integrating people, organisations, activities, customer history and operational workflows into a consistent product logic. The main challenge was to make this complexity scalable, incorporate automation and logging effectively, and allow individual tenant configurations.

Native iOS Companion App

Role

In-house designer · Small, product-focused design team setup · Direct coordination with management, sales and development ·Additionally, Product Owner of the Companion App

Contribution

Structural co-development of key product areas and definition of consistent state and function models across all modules. Established scalable navigation, interface and design system principles, complemented by structured analysis of professional and structural challenges based on qualitative research formats and systematic evaluation of stakeholder inputs.

Impact

Accelerated product development through clearly defined structural principles, reduced systemic friction with increasing product complexity, and a scalable foundation for further growth in the Series A environment.
